Re read my post, I never said that because funds own a stock it can't go down, I said that $ 2.50 for CSCO is not attainable. I also think $ 6 is to low.
You know that S & P funds have to track the S & P so they cannot liquidate unless the weightings change. That in itself will probably keep the stock above $ 10.
If things get real nasty low teens is a possibility but I think that at current levels they have more then priced in a shit year. I have been doing this long enough to know how the markets overreact on both sides. I hold some in my long-term account and day trade it in my day trading account. Being a short seller I will short any of my basket of stocks, which includes CSCO, but then I am only in those positions for the day.
Up until last week I was actually 98 % cash , I just started to buy small positions and write calls on those positions in my swing account. As for my market sentiment, neutral :_}
