Absolutely....Look at what the lack of simple basic telephony in India has wrought!

Hey having George Dubbah go to China in October can't hurt either. Just watch - The Chinese are going to be pulling out all the stops to make the launch when he arrives.

The Russian Minister sounds like a throwback....reminds me of Nikita banging his shoe on the podium at the U.N... Troglodytes are apparently not yet extinct.

He's as corrupt as the rest of them. If Qualcomm or Lucent wants to do CDMA in Russia all they have to do is pay the guy. I don't know much about China, but in Russia nothing is accomplished without grease.
