"Normal DOW:Nasdaq ratio is 5:1"

Was normal! Agree 2-1 was indicative of a bubble but new relationship between the two may settle somewhere between 2&5. My feeling is that nasdaq is finding a bottom here on a stock by stock, group by group basis. Dow decline involves heretofore untouched value stocks and financials with potential loan default danger. So naz 1800 make translate to dow 8000. How the nasdaq could hold up that well if the Dow tumbles further is very questionable so using 5-1 takes us to 1600 as a worse case. Just some thoughts this morning.
