Did you say your broker could not get shares to short? It seems to easy and obvious that KREM would fall on cue.

But against the current market behavior, it seems KREM is trading at inflated levels on borrowed time.

Count me in if I can get some shares on Monday. I can hold a small short position a long time.

Cramer recommnds covering KREM short -

From TheStreet.com -

I suggest that those who are still short Krispy Kreme
(KREM:Nasdaq - news - boards) cover the stock.

I continue to believe the stock is overvalued. However, seeing as KREM can't be
borrowed and anyone who shorts it is subject to being "bought in" by his broker, the
mechanics of the market make it difficult for me to continue to recommend the short.
