Yes, you are correct that Infostream's identification of "WJS" as "a reputable magazine" contained two errors. Since he was agreeing with my statement that "the Journal is a reputable paper" I didn't want to quibble. You shouldn't be so hard on Info, though. I don't think english is his first language.

You're also correct about Buffett, of course. Like anyone who has to manage very large investments, he keeps his actions as quiet as they can be. For that reason, I have disputed the idea, put forth by some on this thread, that the management of CNC would somehow know whether or not Buffett was buying their bonds on the open market.

I have enough respect for Buffett that I own a small number of class B Berkshire Hathaway stock. I expect that I will be glad to have them when it's time to retire.
