here is the updated spx weekly chart with 2 technical indicators...note that the slow stochastics is quite low BUT still heading south.....the spx 19 week cycle down from 11/17/00 ends friday march 30th....this constant grinding away to the downside for the spx rather than a dramatic sudden high percentage drop could possiblely continue into the 30th of march....

bigcharts.com

eventually, i would like to see the spx weekly close take out that low of 1998...if it doesn't do it during this current down move...that i would have to wait for wave 7-8-9 towards the end of the year (the 9th is scheduled to end 12/21/01).

all of this, for what it may be worth.

Guree: <us markets lost $888 BILLION in "value" THIS week alone...and are now down about $4.+ trillion from the top >

It's only Mickey Mouse money --- it never existed except in someone's imagination. And, if you don't believe me, ask some folks who lost.

re: post 10691, a little additional info:

here is a one year chart of the xau weekly with slow stochastics.

bigcharts.com

the latest (and hopefully) price low for the xau happened on 11/17/00 at 41+.....using this PRICE low date, we now have 17 weeks under our belt.....the xax weekly TIMEWISE bottom was 12/1/00 and thus, we have 15 weeks completed from that date. all of this, as previously mentioned, happening during a 19 weeks UP cycle...now the question is do i pull the trigger to sell my newmont 19 weeks after 11/17/00 which would be 12/30/01 (which happens to be the same date that the spx 500 DOWN cycle ends.....or do i wait for 19 weeks from 12/1/00 (the beginning of the TIME cycle for the xau) which ends friday, the 13th of April??

..... by the way (or anyway would really do).....that 11/17/00 bottom for the xau was the exact same date as the ending of the spx 9 wave (57 weeks) cycle. (for what it may be worth)
