My one and only concern is that everyone, even Ron Insana on CNBC has been looking for a "capitulation bottom" for weeks. I guess the hope is that there is finally one big puke that will lead to one amazing bounce. Since the market is diabolical, maybe "the plan of Mother Market" is for investors to be stuck with a prolonged attack of the dry heaves, and when "the bottom" comes, it just grinds there for a long time...

The difference between then and now is that back then, the long term trend was still up, and there had been no parabolic blowoff and subsequent crash.

Yours always with diabolical thoughts,

T.
