Robert:

>> the biotechs in aggregate have performed far better than most new econ sectors <<

Falicy, based on a few companies and the concept that BTK represents biotech. Or, if you liked, based on the constant patter on CNBC.

Intel got clobbered, correct? Off 63% from its 52 week high? Everyone says that biotech had to catch up with tech?

That's nothing. Take a look at the two year charts...........

quote.yahoo.com
quote.yahoo.com (73% off of 52 week high)

quote.yahoo.com
quote.yahoo.com (an outstanding performer, and only off 60%!)

Pick your biotech, apart from a few stocks that compose the "biotech" of CNBC.

Sorry, but your logic infuriates me. It's the trap of Arnhold Barfholder et al., their "Siren". It's the logic wielded by those who don't know the individual stocks -- and their inherent value -- to control the sector.
