Robert, I suspect that there will come a time when some great Americans will want to sell the long shares they're holding because they no longer believe the investment will continue to be a good one. Knowing the stock's questionable future value, it would certainly be unethical to unload them on a fellow great American! As a result, they'll be forced to seek out some lemon sucking REDs who need to cover their short positions. Alas!, we have proof that shorts have an essential role in the great American stock market! (<g> all in fun of course). Now I've got to find out how to short lemon futures! AdvocateDevil
