The old "core and trading shares" method comes to mind. The Biotech sector seems to be volatile enough to lure us away from that just when it would come in the most handy. It's a lot easier to hold through a market this bad if you've already thrown off enough cash to pay for it. Oh well, in my case, maybe on the next "run" (:-0)

Vector: Good points (or, least, hard to argue with in hindsight). But, IMO, one of the strengths of the Model is its buy-and-hold characteristic.
