Agree, the II survey has been pretty useless.

WHat does matter of late seems to be the AAII survey.

Last weekend's AAII report went from 45% to 31% bullish and the bears were greater than the bulls! Key to me was the bulls lost about 30% in one week from their ranks. It looked like a capitulation of sorts as over 2/3rds were NOW predicting a lower market either in the short term or long term and only 31% thought it would go up...
