Ian, why don't you tell everyone how you sold out of Newbridge Networks stock prior to the buyout by Alcatel. Why don't you tell everyone that you put the proceeds of that sale into that dog brokerage stock. How much did you make on that stock, if anything? In spite of your postings here and on the Alcatel thread, isn't true that you don't own stock of either company. Well, maybe you do now, maybe not.

Nortel featured in Barron's Cover story.

A relatively positive conclusion for NT in a generally cautious article.

All said, Nortel remains a formidable company and its
stock now is
back where it
stood in 1998,
trading for around
1.6 times sales, a
premium to the
troubled Lucent,
but a significant
discount to Cisco,
which still
commands six
times sales.
Nortel and other
telecom equipment providers could benefit from the normal seasonal upturn in
sales as the year progresses.
