Hi Shaw,

I think your line of thought has merit. If they can't prop the Nikkei well up over 12K (preferably in the 14K range by 3/31), some serious chit is going to develop...

No matter what kind of reserves the Japanese gov. has set up for this process (it's a huge number), the chill on investment and spending in Japan could be dramatic (yes, worse than it already is). With the devaluation spreading across Asia as Japan prints Yen like there's no tomorrow the turbulence in the world markets could really ramp up (59 cent loonie?).

I think Granny Greenspan has to move boldly - 1% cut and continued bias toward economic contraction does it for me.

Hey Shaw,
Now that the crisis is intensifying, I believe he will go bigger than we think this time around

I hope so

A rally at 2:15 will follow through for the week, imo, instead of the usual 20 minutes

So r u gettin' your buy list ready? It would be really nice for a change if we have a rally that last longer then 20 minutes.

Like Rob says I think your theory makes a (us) lot of sense (cents!)

Regards,
Peter

Afternoon Shaw and you other fellas:

I/ve just finished reading the lastest on the thread from my late night post last night with Peter. It seems to me that he won't set any precidents and it's .5 and you were right an hour and a half ago. So I suggest IMHO that you have two windows open with two buttons ready to push, one for up and one for down.

LOL

Bob
