flap, just to set the record straight. I've never bashed anyone simply for being in a union. With proper leadership and "urgency to change", I've seen unions become genuine partners with corporate leaders in a spirit of win-win, where everyone prospered in the process.

Unfortunately, I've just never seen that attitude expressed by you. I've only seen you express animosity, fear and loathing toward business leaders. That kind of "I win you lose" mentality by union hacks, brought our country to the brink of economic disaster in the late seventies, and displaced hundreds of thousands of workers in the process.

The old age "management is the enemy" model you're stuck in, is not what we need in order to flourish as a nation. Union leaders and managers who understand we can balance the needs of both the organization and its members in order to prosper are.

This same kind of thinking dominates your political mindset. Bush is a Republican, therefore, he must lose. It doesn't seem to matter to you whether the country prospers or not under Bush. The only thing that matters is he looks bad, so we (the Democratic party) can "win" in 02 or beyond. "I win you lose".

We're all one nation, as the nation goes, so goes our future prosperity. I can understand disagreeing with Bush about this or that policy direction. But the loathing and contempt I've witnessed by Democrats toward anything "Bush", since the election, is beyond repugnant.

I never voted for Clinton. However, in his first term I felt we should all give him a fair chance. I've seen no such attitude by Democrats toward Bush in that regard.

On a personal level. Some people on this thread may not understand why I repeatedly come down on you so hard. To them, It's because I've tried to treat you decent in the past, and all you did was turn nasty, while throwing name calling third party posts my way.

In order to verify what I'm saying is true, all one needs to do is type my name in the SI search engine. There, you will find post after post where flappy went after me in nasty third party ways.
