Playing between the bid and the ask is not going to guarantee execution. The ONLY way to get execution, for a highly liquid security, is to sell it at the bid or buy it as the ask. This can kill you in penny stocks btw as they keep the spread high to make money on the infrequent transactions.

You would think thestreet.com would know this but then again, they have been known to make some big blunders in their "reporting".
