NYCB, I am not looking at dividend increases right away. I think over a 3 to 5 year period, if the economy improves, the dividends will be increased. And many companies will start paying dividends if the market goes sideways for a while.

I doubt if any of the tech companies can pay dividends though. In many cases, the earnings numbers have been massaged so much that we have to wonder whether they really had any earnings. Of course, only if the earnings are real, can they pay dividends...
