Go back to 1998, 1999 posts on most threads, turn your monitor upside down on the NDX weely and you'll find the exact same concerns on the way up to Nasdaq 5000 from folks who were labeled "bear", "crazy", "insane", and "jealous". I bet those same traders celebrated the meteroic rise of QCOM, AMZN, AOL, YHOO, MSTR, CMGI, CHINA, etc, etc, etc. All totally convinced that there is more to go. Higher, and higher. Also, "And always when I see traders celebrating the destruction of long term support in a great company's stock!" Hhhmm. Great companies don't destruct. They may be victims of the overall down-trend, but they should never drop as much as the Index they trade in. IF they do, well... they're not "great companies" :-) It was a steep climb up, and it's a steep tumble down. Such is life.

<<if all these people sell and take the money home every night we will have no markets as only sell programmes will hit the market, in such a case no low is low enough>> This is point 'futures based selling' has its peculiar charateristics, this present set of selling is highly organised and 'futures' based, its short covering ability will be equally awesome..if you care to notice look at the future premiums over cash, in a fast market on Friday and a day before those cash was ahead of the futures many a times in the last few weeks, .. next fast move keep an eye on that..
