I agree with you. The only trouble I have with this "sell the rally" thing is that is sticks to ya. And when gold finally moves, you sell very early in the move because of this STR philosophy. Like this "buy the dip" for the general market. Ask if ANYONE actually made money in the market lately with the BTD behavior? I bet you find nobody, even the best traders bought higher than they sold. I don't mind selling some (Probably 2x-5x my initial investment) at POG 600. But that will be determined by change fundamentals of this market. I see no reason to sell now.
