Fortunately, we are not Japan, TWICK.

Yes, I'm beginning to believe we have may some regions of our country that will be hit pretty hard by this for a while, and yes we have some "little problems" with debt, lol, but we'll pull through. We made it through an oil industry depression and savings and loan mess ok 12 years ok. That was pretty bad for a lot of people yet somehow, no one seems to remember it.

Ummmmmmm ..... I'm sort of guessing that the baby boomers will "inherit" their way out of this one. There is a lot of wealth in the hands of a lot of old people.

Why are they wealthy ? Because as children the suffered through the Great Depression. As young adults, they suffered through World War II. They learned to work hard and save their money.
