The length of time interval is not the point when it comes to using log scale.

Log scale is for viewing price changes in terms of percentages. The wider the range in price—not time—the more useful log scale becomes.

In this case, I have used arithmetic rather than log for two reasons:

1. I always prefer to use arithmetic in order to see the real amplitude of the price movements.

2. If I had used log instead, I could not have come up with a lower line! ;-)
