sayrep: RE("looking for a way to buy back in as i have decreased my holdings in the cube related funds")

IMH, The trouble with bailing on the way down and trying to get back in at the bottom is that you risk missing the bottom and having a rally start, leaving you behind sitting in cash. Brinker always advises against selling into weakness. I suspect the risk I described is why.

FWIW,

Re: "if the naz goes down to 1400 then it will have made sense to sell some of your holdings at this level."

On Saturday Bob mentioned that he could not make a case for the Naz to go below that level. This is 26% below where it closed on Friday, which would correspond to roughly 30 on the QQQ. Whether the bottom really does turn out to be at or above that level is anybody's guess, but it makes it easier to hang on having a number that is at least plausible for downside risk.
