That seems to be the compelling argument out there that the Fed won't act in any overt way to help Japan out. The "you've had your chance to fix things and you haven't acted" scenario.

We'll see soon, more than likely.

If Japan is left on it's own, what does that imply ST for us, on the trading side. Does the $US keep rising and act as a safe haven, or finally do we see a return to the gold market as that safe haven?
