Robert, the questions were good ones, your answers were not.

Everyone knows that the Japanese have been fading for years. They are myopic, let's face it. Their reliance on land holding values to judge corporate viablity is bizzare.

Heck, yrs back when they bought Rockefeller Ctr, it was obvious thrre mos they paid far, far too much for it. That was just one of many indications that the Japanese just didn't "have it" anymore.

I think the "2nd largest econ" thing carries more media hype than real importance. Everyone knew yrs ago that the Japanese are insecure and insular. For an island nation, that only makes things worse.....

So anyone with any money in Japan pulled it out, or at least they should have....

Robert, You'll be more surprised by the answers. China is the much larger economy than Japan. According to CIA fact books on the internet.
