I can tell from your logic that you're a CIA agent....definitely same pathological logic pattern! Ok whatever. You would be correct if you bought back the same number of shares at double the price. Only problem is you can only buy back half the number of shares at double the price. You will make 600% You are still double-counting. You are investing the same amount of money, at double the price per share. Don't worry about the number of shares. It's a waste of my time to do the math for you; if you don't believe me, it's your choice.
