"Conservative" Christians say it seriously and get away with it. I've yet to here a retraction for the AIDS IS A CURSE FROM GOD crappola. People who say shit like that, deserve to be lampooned. In fact, I think I've read right here on SI crappola by SI conservatives calling every liberal a "Cintonista" even when said liberal says they don't like Clinton. I think those conservatives "get away" it. In fact they seem to form little bands and ass pat each other over their great "jokes". Oh gosh- I just remembered how many LAWYER jokes I've heard. Now THERE is an industry that is lambasted with no mercy. I'll never forget when a person on the feelies thread who was an attorney went absolutely mental about a bunch of lawyer jokes. So people don't like lawyers. Who cares? Deal with it or get out of the business. Your prissy sensitivity over beef is ridiculous in light of the way you (for example) were attempting to goad people here over dolphin meat. People who want to rattle cages would do best not to be a cry baby when their own cage gets a little teeny rattle.

Like - Clintonista, Demo-lib, FemiNazi, or other such humor (some which I think is clever)? Get a life LG. The truth is (as you've been told by other vegetarians, some of whom are conservative) eating meat is bad for you. It's true and your resistance to it looks foolish. People that lived in cold climates where crops during the winter weren't possible or in desert savannahs, didn't have a lot of choice because vegetable crops are few and far between, so humans do eat meat. If you examine our teeth and the fact that we can't synthesize ascorbate (vitamin C), we are most certainly not "carnivores", but "omnivores" : "Anything eaters". Just because we can eat something, doesn't mean we should.
