Our local paper said mortgage rates will not go any lower even if the fed cuts by .75 pts The banks say that is all factored into the current rates. If anything they start trnding upwards!!

OK is this bs?
Is this just the banks trying to make more money....we'll charge you the same for your loan but the rates we give you to keep money in our bank is going down.

Just seems odd to me
