How exactly would anyone who reads this board get blind-sided?

It's true that there have been plenty of cautions raised here, so in that sense you can say that everyone has had fair warning. However, when considering potential sources of blind side surprises, it is worth noting that once the Wrigley deal is done, all of the material operations of the company will be shielded behind joint ventures which do not share the rather stringent reporting requirements imposed on public companies. The one income source which may remain in full daylight is the potential royalties from Wrigley, which are not directly under GumTech's control. We'll see what they're worth. Kehoe, at least, does seem to believe that they offer a more attractive future for him than what remains behind. (BTW Mike, I thought Gary Kehoe was the only reason you remain invested in this company. Maybe it's time to switch to Wrigley?)

The one thing I'm really curious about is whose 200,000 shares Wrigley will purchase for their "investment". And if it is coming from an individual or individuals rather than treasury stock, is this really in the best interest of the shareholders? I await the 8-k with interest.
