Buying and holding through a bubble is not serious thinking, it is silly lack of thinking. I understand that you now feel it is too late to sell. Perhaps I would do the same. But you still don't seem to grasp what happened in the last year. It is not just a business cycle interrupting the growth of your "portfolio" (which is not a "portfolio by any definition I would accept -- basket of highly correlated stocks maybe). You don't even seem to have given it much thought. Today you told me the internet stocks are in an uptrend -- and said this was the only possible conclusion!!
