The "dilution in practice" was not different from those of the sentiments you so admire and offered as mitigation of anti-Jewishness. They were not considered at variance with it. They were very, very dilute indeed-- in practice and in precept. Jews were the spawn of Satan if they believed in Judaism. To be good Christians, women should shut up.
