Sun's highly scalable storage system for mission-critical enterprise environments is now certified by both Sun and VERITAS Software to support VERITAS Cluster Server running on the Sun Solaris(TM) operating environment. VERITAS Cluster Server is scalable software designed to proactively manage the availability of enterprise services in clustered environments. Sun StorEdge T3 array customers can now use VERITAS Cluster Server to create highly available server clusters by connecting two or more servers to a common storage resource. If a failure occurs on one or more servers, VERITAS Cluster Server automatically migrates applications to another server in the cluster with no administrator intervention.
