Still, as best I can I have made it my business to study the TA and sentiment of past bears and terrible declines.

Just as people are making the terrible error of seeing ORCL as cheap $14, they will most likely see decent rallies as *huge* and draw incorrect conclusions from said rallies. Their window is too narrow. A 500 point rally in the NASDAQ will look like a wiggle to me on the long-term charts.
