JRI,

Not to diminish the importance of tomorrows FOMC action, Im actually more concerned about how long we will be in this bear market. After speaking to my old colleagues concerning the Asian economy, I have to admit that Im becoming more negative for the longer-term.

If this does turn out to be an extended bear market, the future moves in stocks may return back to where a swing move is only a few points where in the past its been 10-15 points. Something that we may have to get use to in the future.

Naz is like a plane in a death spiral

What a great analogy since the recovery from this is to push the stick further ahead and increase your rate of descent in order stop the spin and then level out. You just have to hope it started at a high enough altitude:)

Ugly thought ..

"we really need that intermediate "fear-induced" bottom"

If AG thought the same thing, then a .25 would get the ball rolling ..
