I see few other national mags with bears on them. All the classic signs are happening that point to the end of the bear. Fed decreasing rates, government officials stepping in to save the day, bears on mag covers, M2 increasing, the last of the strong stocks dropping, (the dow joining in). There will be a few problems going forward in picking the correct time to buy in. The last stage is normally the worse part of the bear as investor throw in the towel, who's to say if that will be true. I hear feedback that some people have stopped looking at their monthly account mailings, I bet you that's a widespread practice. It will be tempting to buy as stocks are beginning to look cheaper by the day, but you might be buying into still shrinking stocks or worse dead money. One of the of larger problems that I see in finding the right area to invest in is, that there is a secular slow down in the high-tech sector of the economy that is so wide spread it will be hard to find the ones that will come out the other end as the new leaders of the new Bull. Finally, there is so much over head resistance from the investors that sill are holding stocks who feel like THE bag holders, that many will want to sell on any rally, so it's going to take months of base action to work all that off and to sort out what sectors will be worthy of investors dollars. I see plenty of time to get in. We are not going to make a V bottom. So, there is no point to throw cash at the market now, unless you are trading. Let's hope it's not an L bottom. Greg This is his response. <<LOL...funny you should mail this on Sunday...I was thinking the same thing when a bear graced the front page of the Denver Post Biz section on Sunday. I have been nibbling around the edges a bit lately, but you are right--of course-- about waiting. >> They are going to run out of BEAR pics to use. Greg
