your post is an island of sanity...odds are greenspan still knows what he's doing & tech stock prices will improve...ceo's know tech is their company's ticket to viability. just because we had an improving economic environment for 10 years doesn't mean it has to stay that way...ebb & flow to econ trends...within an overall upward trend. personally i strongly feel tech stocks have over-corrected. this is not to say we see the same sky high pe's again...simply that now is not time to bail / or short (all imho)

redon't take this as a personal attack
Personal attack? I think that was a fine, well thought out post!!!!
I'm the first one to admit I was a fool last year. I have no problem with criticism when it is deserved (GGG).
I hope you are right but here in Southern California, which usually is the last to see it, we are seeing the beginnings of a slowdown. For rent signs in malls. Lessening of buying. Change of plans for vacations, retirements.
Luckily for me house prices are still high and mortgage rates are low so people are anxious to get the low rates and buy properties. So I hope our house sells, and the rental (in escrow) goes through ok.
For the stock market? Well, we'll see.

Funny how you and JW seem to pop up on SI activly posting...or not posting, at the same times.

Not saying your JW, but it is a rather interesting coincidence indeed.
