Jim,"AMD should stick a 1.33 gigHhz Athlon in a notebook" It is so obvious that I begin to wonder about their marketing. Just call it "up to 1.33GHz Athlon", and never specify nor mention the bottom. I think no one would even notice if it waits at 400-300MHz, even 100MHz will be fine. And everything will be legally correct. I think it is "marketing 101".

Only run it at 1.33 if ambient temperature is less than freezing.> So you really think the mobile Pentium III at 1 GHz doesn't actually run at 1 GHz unless the "ambient temperature is less than freezing"? Give me a break. By the way, you realize that AMD has much more room to "redefine" mobile clock speeds with PowerNow than Intel does with SpeedStep, right? Tenchusatsu
