And, yes I paid my taxes. Show me an American who doesn't pay their taxes, and I'll show you an American who might be in jail soon! We need a tax overhaul. I still believe the $3K limit of capital losses taken against one's earned income is crazy. I fell that specifically because it hits me hard. I was just getting close to wiping out all those capital losses and then this "tiny" market sell-off came along. At $3K a year, will get that tax money back in about 125 years. I am almost 50 and am not expecting to live to 175.
