I see a short-term turnaround here but Greenspan must act aggressively. Notice Bush doing a turnaround and suddenly saying our economy is fine. After calling it a recession and touting his back-loaded over-blown no-help tax cut. He has bummed the market out since December then we get anothre Cheney heart problem. But now maybe that will change. And hopefully McCain won't be shut down by his own party and cram finance reform down their throats. Then the mood wil change. But Greenspan is king. Let him speak.
If he's aggressive it will be carnage on the short side and throw water on those who think they can just keep shorting to infinity. Pigs get slaughtered, especially onces who have grown fat on "easy money". Now they're the easy money is the big boys want to squeeze them. Hanging way out there.
