CNBC just reported on situation. It is very serious this time, and affecting all three utilities. Given the daily power curve for california, these blackouts are likely to roll around for about another 6 hours. Nothing to suggest this won't be a regular occurrence until the AEP's get paid. CalIso can't force them to produce and subsidize the state's consumers. More are going to shut down as time goes on. One of these times they might not be able to drop load in time. If that happens it's lights out for everyone.
