Rossignol-- you are correct! 1/2% and the mkts will sell off on the disappointment. If by a miracle that was never seen before the drop was 3/4 a rally would start and many would sell into the rally causing a selloff. If he were to drop a full point everyone would sell everything as no matter how much some do not want to believe he is senile they would then know--- Al stacked the deck against the economy and he is the only Joker in it....

Unfortunately, 50 basis points is built in. It's gonna take .75 to move the market. That would still leave .25 for next time and I don't think they meet again til May. AG said he preferred to make the adjustments at the regularly scheduled meeting, so imho, .75 is not out of the question. El
