Now, if the mkt rallies in spite of the 50, then it will be a strong mkt :). Lord knows what could happen if it is a 1/4 point cut!

In that case it would mark the bottom & we'd be done with it. I don't think he should do more than 50. He's pumping enough liquidity in anyway.

I sold all my gold shares today except for glg just to have some cash

That could be, but it will only serve to "solidify" the bottom here. For an hour or two thios morning i was worried that the low of last Friday will not hold, but it did, and it is developing so far relatively well. If we get another +1000 tic this week on the NYSE, I'll have to readjust the turnip scenario and call today's low as "THE LOW" for the next six months, and thus probably a year. That will call for modification of the scenario as well and bring into the picture no major retreats up to 2650, but we need that second very positive tic for that to happen.
