Doug, fed funds should be (GDP growth + rate of Inflation) this sums up around 4%. Until interest rates are not there the policy is restrictive.

Europe has done what was needed two years ago and their economy rebounded. Now the US is a drag on the world economies and interest rates in the US must be adjusted to the above formula.

Now even Argentina may follow Turkey
