sunfisher-

from the CD - "The Skiffle Sessions" - Live In Belfast...

("Here's a very good old good one, see if you remember this one, see if we do!)
("This is gonna be nice, this is gonna be very nice")

Sailed on the Sloop John B
My granddaddy and me
'Round Nassau town we did roam
We'd been drinkin' all night
Got into a fight
Yeah and I feel so broke up
I wanna go home

Hoist up the John B's sails
See how the mainsail sets
Send for the Captain ashore
And let me go home
I wanna go home, I wanna go home, yeah
'Cause I feel so broke up, I wanna go home
Yes I do
(Feel so broke up, Lord, I wanna go home)

Well Captain's a wicked man
He gets drunk any time he can
And he don't give a damn for grandpappy
No, nor me
He kicks us around
And he knocks us about
Well I feel so broke up, I
I wanna go home

Well pull up the John B's sails
See how the mainsail sets
Send for the Captain ashore
And let me go home
I wanna go home
Well, I wanna go home
'Cause I feel so broke up (he's so broke up)
I wanna go home
(Yes I do)
I feel so broke up
(He so broke up)
Lord, that I wanna go home
Home

you ask...

Ever tip over or see it done?

kath and i have done exactly the same 360 degree roll that you and drea did. i have a starfish too.

sail and cruising world are two of the most commercial sail mags - lattitude 38 is good, and there are others but i can't read them all. they wish i was the editor but i told them that NNBM was my baby. <G-BS>

my boat has a retractable iron keel. pull it up and go ashore or on the trailer, leave it down and smack anyone swimming 6 feet below.

my sister gave me 2 CDs for my birthday --

Van Morrison - Linda Gail Lewis
YOU WIN AGAIN

and

Van Morrison - Lonnie Donegan - Chris Barber
THE SKIFFLE SESSIONS - Live In Belfast

i may not come down from the ceiling for a couple daze.

Clappers

Do you have to find a very steep ramp to launch it?

Sailboats (if they don't have retractable keels) are
lowered in and out of the water using what is called a
Travel Lift.
