Dear Little Joe: Yes, I too have never seen the market fall so fast with the UNDERLYING ECONOMY really not that bad. I suspect this means two things, 1. Stock valuations were in a BUBBLE (which I had also never seen before to such a magnitude) and 2. the market has very likely OVER REACTED to the downsizing of valuations. IMHO markets often take swings up and down before stabilizing at the right value. I suspect this one will slowly rise recouping probably 1/2 the drop we have suffered by year end and from there likely return to its normal increases of maybe 12-15% thereafter. JDN
