I'm sure the big money knows about semiconductor equipment cycles and expected orders/shipments/btb to turn down, form a V, and go back up. Maybe that's why KLAC's warning had little effect on stock prices after hours.

SD, exactly. That's what I'm thinking might happen. Although I'm expecting warnings from Microsoft and IBM, as well as Lam and Applied, the way it's going, they might all have to warn on the same day to cause these stone-faced fund managers to even squint!
