Scott,

Unbelievable.. the thread has actually stayed relatively on topic the last 2 days

All good things must come to an end. <g>

You need to be mobilizing the Canadian Monties...dubya is going after ANWAR. Today, he announced that all Americans must conserve energy while simultaneously exploiting our natural resources more thoroughly. And you know where we will start drilling in an effort to free ourselves from the yoke of the energy oppressors.

What I realized today is that he knows that the excuses he presents to promote his agenda are transparent and he just doesn't care. He is bound and determined to get his agenda through for his contributors. And we can thank CA for helping...I don't think they will be able to get their act together.

On a more inspiring note, I just learned that on 13 January, 2001 660 law professors took out an ad in the NY Times protesting the partisan action taken by the Supreme Ct. during the election. I was getting worried that the issue was to be swept under the proverbial rug......but like any good cause celebre, it keeps smoldering just below radar range....can't wait for it to explode into flame. ;~))
