True, which is why George W. needs to continue the momentum after the tax cut which is sure to pass. I would love to see term limits passed. If we enacted term limits, we wouldn't be caring so much about campaign finance reform. Three terms in the house, and two in the Senate should be enough.

The founding fathers never envisioned politics being a life-long career. Especially in the House of Representatives. The goal was one of short term service, followed by a return to the private sector.

Term limits lost by one Democratic vote in the Senate a few years ago. Republicans now have an opportunity to pass it. I say, let's pressure them to do so!
