I have a sick feeling about the rest of the week. A few new developments scare me. For one, I just saw next weeks magazine covers on tv and 3 of the big ones have big burly bears on the cover, even showing teeth (I think it was US News, Newsweek, and Time). All around SI and everywhere else the bulls consensus is that we tank on 50 bp and rally on anything greater than 75 bp. I think AG delevers 50 bp, but am I really dumb enough to position myself to tank the way the Clowns think it will go down?

I'd feel much better on a 75 or 100 bp cut, but hell maybe they have enough juju left to really get things moving for a few days. And if it is 50 bp, maybe the Clowns finally just step out of the way once and don't buy the dip. Maybe poots and calls is the best, who knows. I'm boxing half my Crisco short and stepping out of the way on the rest. I'm going to try not to lose anything this week. What is so f*cking ridiculous to me is that 50, 75, or 100 bp's is completely meaningless in the scheme of things. The damage has been done and this is the difference between a bandaid or nothing on a fatal stab wound. But the Clowns think this is so damn important it will likely move things 10% one way or the other.

BC:

Indeed they do, but unfortunately at the moment, they already have a bunch of semi products on the shelves in inventory. Ouch.

Best, Earlie
