Bexxar had all the right things going for it: novel mechanism, good clinical data, backup from big pharma - but in the end management wasn't up to the task. There were some signs, that management was not able: First failure of BLA submission, shopping the company around before second BLA submission. Think about the PR spin after the first failed submission "Data formatting etc." now it's almost 2 years later and the drug is still not approved. Sadly,the biggest loosers will be the NHL patients that desperately need the drug.

Depressing for sure; even though I had made (slightly) worse investments within the last 5 years (no -g-). What did we do wrong? Hard to tell, but I would start with believing in people perhaps we should not have. I agree with Spek, no point hanging around with this company. Bexxar was the only thing worth getting excited about. What do we have to look forward here? PVAC?

Good luck to Dr. Gillis and crew. They will need it.
