I'm sure there is at least one thing the Democrats want to change that would reduce government intervention. The real point in the Democratic approach to government is to provide checks and balances on power. This includes all sources of power such as industry and interest groups and not just the various branches of government. In many cases this means giving government a role (not control) in new avenues such as medicine where economic and scientific power shifts are rapidly changing and growing.
