I have an Aero chair at the office and have never had anything like that happen. I can't even guess why.

Hi Greg.

What do you mean by acute respiratory problems?
I wouldn't expect such a condition to come
and go like that. Once you develop a bronchitis
it takes a while to go away.

If you're talking an allergic reaction, like sneezing
and eyes watering around a cat (something I experience)
then perhaps you are allergic to some material in
the chairs. Do you tend to have allergies?
